Downers Grove nursing home cited for nursing home neglect
A Downers Grove nursing home was cited by the IDPH for its Illinois nursing home neglect. The nursing home failed to provide adequate supervision and assure the safety of a resident known for trying to leave the facility. The resident, who wheeled herself out of the facility and was later found flipped out of her wheelchair, was injured with back and finger fractures.
The Illinois Department of Health produces quarterly reports on nursing home violators.
