Palos Heights nursing home fined $25,000
A Palos Heights Manorcare nursing home was fined $25,000 when a resident who was neglected for two months without insulin treatment and services. The resident was admitted to the hospital with extremely high blood sugar levels. The Illinois Department of Health produces quarterly reports on Illinois nursing home abuse and neglect violations.
